Marcus Laster
Marcus, a resident of New York City, received bleaching and direct composite veneers at the Carolina Smile Center prior to becoming a highly sought after professional model. He began his public career as a Winthrop Eagle basketball center and moved into sports broadcasting locally and in Augusta, Georgia. Marcus’ work includes layouts in L’Vomo Vogue Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Martha Stewart Bridal, and Flaunt, and he’s posed for ads for Budweiser, Elizabeth Arden, Tommy Hilfiger, Joe Boxer, Hanes, Macy’s, Kohls, Burdines, Loehmann’s, Belk, and Reem Acra. He and his wife still return to the Carolina Smile Center for their dental care needs.
Marie Andree Poulin
Miss Poulin is a native of Quebec City, Canada and depends on her smile as a vital part of her career as a professional model. She learned of our office through contacts in the dental industry, and though she had numerous choices as to where to receive her smile makeover, she chose to fly to Fort Mill to seek Dr. Blank's expertise. Marie is a quite famous in Canada, winning the local Quebec Pageant, and receiving the honor of Second Runner Up in the national Miss World Canada Pageant in 2004. She is a professional mode, and has been featured in many national magazines and TV commercials. She also appeared in a Celine Dion music video. Miss Poulin received eight direct bonded veneers, which depended on Dr. Blank's artistic skill to freehand composite facings on the surface of her natural teeth. This procedure was performed in a single appointment, and Marie literally flew in and in two days flew out with her new smile directly to NYC for a modeling contract.
Marie's case demonstrates that you, too, can receive a Hollywood look, right here in Rock Hill! When professional models choose our office over any other office in the world, it is the biggest compliment we can receive at the Carolina Smile Center.
Miss Hannah Grooms
Miss Grooms is a Winthrop University graduate and Miss South Carolina Teen USA 1999. She has competed in pageants and modeled for most of her life. Originally from Wallace, South Carolina, this small-town girl found stardom while competing in the Miss Teen USA Pageant. Miss Grooms has competed more recently in the teen pageant scene, winning the swimsuit competition in 2000, and being First Runner Up in 2002. Currently, Miss Grooms is seeking a profession in journalism, and her charming yet professional personality and phenomenal stage presence make her a great candidate for television broadcasting.
Miss Grooms came to the Carolina Smile Center seeking to enhance her smile with cosmetic teeth bleaching. This already beautiful woman achieved the look she desired through Vital Nightguard Bleaching regimen, and boasts that her teeth now "glow" and have become a striking feature of her face in her professional modeling photos. Look for great things in the future for Miss Grooms, and we here at the Carolina Smile Center wish her the best of luck in her professional endeavors.
