Hollie Bryant, Practice Manager, Registered Dental Assistant
Hollie Bryant is a graduate of Bowman Gray Dental Assisting Program and is the former Chairside Assistant for Dr. Ross Nash and Clinical Instructor and Treatment Coordinator at the Nash Institute. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Dental Office Managers, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Association, Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, and the American Dental Assistants Association. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Contemporary Dental Assistant Magazine and currently serves on the Advisory Board for DentalCompare. She is on the editorial board of Dental Assisting Digest and Inside Dental Assisting, and is a consultant for numerous dental manufacturers and has authored numerous manuscripts on clinical assisting and practice management topics. Hollie has recently assumed full responsibility for managing the Carolina Smile Center, the office of Dr. Jeff T. Blank and is a full faculty member of New Millennium Education and lectures nationally on clinical and management topics.
Jan Coward, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jan is a graduate of the Florence Darlington Technical College in Florence, SC. She has been in dentistry for 30 years. Jan has enjoyed the many transitions that dentistry has undergone during her career and finds herself energized and rejuvenated with the technology, esthetics, and materials that dentistry has available for today's consumer and the best materials that Dr. Blank provides for his patients and their dental health. As a team member of the Carolina Smile Center for 18 years, she provides comfort, compassion, and a gentle hand to each of her patients during their professional cleaning appointments. Sonya Prater, Registered Dental Hygienist
Sonya graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1995. She currently holds a license to practice in North and South Carolina but has also held a Dental Hygiene license in 5 other states. Although she was born and raised in South Carolina, Sonya and her family settled in the Charlotte area just 6 years ago. Being a member of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics and American Dental Hygienist Association has awarded her many opportunities to further her education and skills. A comprehensive approach is of upmost importance in the quality of care that Sonya provides for every patient. Being a part of the team at Carolina Smile Center has truly been rewarding and she looks forward to growing with the practice. Sonya shares the same passion and excitement for dentistry that Dr. Blank and the team are committed to providing.

Ms. Hoak attended Paradise Valley Community College for her general studies and graduated from Rio Salado College in 2004. Her dental career begin to thrive in an esthetic driven practice located in Phoenix, AZ where she spent the early years of her career as a dental assistant. As her talents showcased so did her abilities to work closely with patients and orchestrating their dental treatment plans. Ms. Julia has dedicated her latter years in dentistry to communicating treatment options, working closely with insurance providers and financial institutes that support our patient’s financial needs. Julia is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, American Academy of Dental Office Managers and is currently seeking membership with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and desires to continue to advance her education through the support of the Carolina Smile Center and the mentorship of Dr. Jeff Blank.
Nicole Godshall, Dental Assistant
Nicole is a Carolina native and Baxter Village resident. She graduated from The North Carolina Dental Assistant Training School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has continued to develop her skills over the past five years through many hours of continuing education, on-line interactive education, as well as hands-on training at the chair. Nicole is a member of the ADAA, Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics and the NCDA.
